Bombastic Bites.
I've been feeling down of late, having to make a few so-called important decisions and also facing some falling moments. Maybe, I'll blog about them in the next entry. Maybe, though.
Oh yes, I had a hell of a blast with my beloved paternal cousins yesterday, yes Ladies Night. not clubbing, take note. Heh. Well some DUMB people have labeled me as 'clubber' when I've only stepped into a club like countable times? It's like stupid and lame. Ah, whatever lah eh, susah mau cakap.
Anyway, as the eldest grand-daughter, Kak Aida treated us to Karaoke at Ming Arcade. 3 hours of singing definitely burnt our throat and indeed, Jurong rained that night! My sister texted us to say that it was all because of us that it rained-heavily! Lol. And Kak Aida's singing, not bad hor? Hahaha. We all main hentam je, from Rock to Dangdut to Jiwangz. Happening gila. <3
For the record, we had this cousins night out. Well our family are close, but it's just that we only meet like countable times a year for weddings and Raya, really. From what I recall, we had never gone out together with just the few of us, it's always us tagging our parents along and then tadaa, we meet! It's the beginning yeah. But the miracle thing is that we can get along well and click whenever we meet! There's a reason why we are cousins, indeed. :)
Kak Aida got a new White Mitsubishi Colt Plus and I only knew about it yesterday. It's really cute though. Lol. Thank you Kak Aida for the everything-free-for-us night! :)

Sorry late update but.. Well, we finally met! Had a picnic cum updating session about our respective lives at MARINA BARRAGE. Cool place, but I felt like a construction worker. Lol. Then headed off to CLARKE QUAY, for River Cruise, FOC, thanks to Wani's cousin, Taj. :)
And then a chit-chat session at MCD Liang Court then along the river @ Clarke Quay.
Finally HOME SWEET HOME. It was really too-sweet-a-day! ♥

It's Complicated.
Let me talk about Friday. While the others were rejoicing over their victory on being able to graduate and awarded with a Diploma, I was still sleeping lah. But that sms from Ngee Ann woke me up, yes my results. Bahh.
Alhamdulilah I passed though! So Year 3, here I come, not like I look forward to it though. Dah senior student keperr! Just one more year and I'll be the real me. You'll get it if get it. Hehehe. :)
To the rest of you, Congratulations ah, pfft! Now, it's only me and Wana who are still officially STUDENTS. Heh.
On another note, I've been slacking a lot. Oh SJI called back for Drama lessons which will commence every Wednesday starting on April 1st. Boys, Miss Fiza is back. Haha. Wish me good luck aye? Sometimes, I can't believe I AM A TEACHER. :)

Yester-night.
It was a lazy Thursday for me yesterday. The weather was well, peaceful enough for me to stay indoors. But it turned out to be an enjoyable night when I left home that evening!
The Hyrulites met at 7pm at Singapore Expo Hall 6 - not for the Halal Food Fair lah, but for Hyrul's 2nd Album Promo! It was really heartwarming to see everyone(most) following the theme of the night, Red&Black as usual. Thank you people!
We occupied a whole two rows of the seats right in front of the stage. VIP seats gitu lor. Hyrul managed to belt out his own 4 songs smoothly too. Fantabulous performance, as usual! Despite the technical fault before delivering Asal Kau Bahagia though. The other 3 were of course Pertama, my favourite Kesal & the melodious Tanda Kasih. :)
Liana Kasmidi, you missed it all! Heh.

Four-hundredth Post!
It's the 400th time I'm blogging, believe it or not? Hmm well it's never too late to update on my un-boring weekend. Well, I've seriously lost the drive to blog all because of Facebook. Haha but oh wells, blogging still remain one of my past-times. So yeah moving on..
Saturday @ Youth Camp
Hmm yeah you read it right, a camp!
The few of us actually spent the evening at Dover CC for the Youth Camp! It was basically a talk about sexuality that aims to increase the awareness about the latter for teenagers especially. I'm in my last TEEN so I'm still a teenager.
Sexuality Education okay? Lol I know. But it was a really up-close and personal one, and yes I enjoyed it! It was a LAZY-turned-ENJOYABLE Saturday for me, thanks to you people! Hehehe.

Had ALOT of food, okay I'm so gonna put on weight. But it was mouth-drooling kah the food and all. We camwhored, we ate, we played games oh yes the water-balloons game that one LOL.
Thanks for the wet-but-awesome picnic! It was a pity so many of you missed it though, if not it would have been more happening! Soon ok? Another outing please!

Hotstuffs makes me go Ooh-La-La..
As planned, I was supposed to watch Mark(Bonafide) perform live for his performance at Nokia's Mosaic(Esplanade) alongside the awesome Vanessa Fernandez & Don Richmond. Since I am a fanatic of R&B/Hiphop, it would be an event I shouldn't miss.
Walking to the stage area, I had this premonition that someone would be there. Just fantasizing though. But true enough we spotted Mr Sesuatu Janji! Lyn spotted him and I went 'Oh My God' countless times. "Dreams do come true?" How apt. Lol.
Back the show, yeah was da bomb. Hosted by Annabelle Francis & Sheikh Haikel, they got the crowd rocking the night. Those 3 talented acts got the crowd grooving to their R&B beats and boy, it was a delicious meal. *throws confetti*
Not bias here but I've got to say that Mark totally stole the limelight for the whole show. It may sound flirtatious and clichéd for me to say this, but I think he's H.O.T. Yeah, agreed?
One word for your performance: Sexy.
A contender for Taufik. :)
I liked 'Hey Girl', 'So Bonafide', 'Later2Nite' & 'Round and Round'. There, almost every performance. Oh boy, "You got me loving you all night indeed". *winks*
He was so presentable on stage, really no kidding. Oh he wrote a song for his ex-girlfriend by the way. Oh man romantic eh. He added that, "No matter where she is, I want her to know that I still love her but we can never be together." Oh man.. I feel you, bahh.
Taufik was duh no need to describe, sentiasa hot. Can I get someone like them for a partner? Heh. I wish. Alah berangan je takpela eh..
Oh and to Suz, great seeing you after so long! Hahaha. And thanks Lyn Maritza for the night! Pheewit! :)

Syndromes.
It's supposed to be party night later. But I somehow can't get the mood right. It's been more than 12 hours. Argh. I just texted Shikin to confirm the plan tonight because since we've settled on the plan together with Mimie. I thought we should just go on with the plan. But to my amazement, Shikin texted back to say that she didn't have the mood either. Talking about the Mood Swings Syndrome. And so, we cancelled it.
I went on a shopping spree yesterday. I was a solitaire for the day. Retail therapy helps, for me at least. Before that, I visited my maternal grandmother at Toa Payoh. I was reprimanded for buying her "too much" food and stuffs. Well, I was just doing my part as a granddaughter lor because I'm nice like that and because I love my Nenek lah. Cute lah Nenek aku nie. :)
With my shopping bags, I took the train instead of cabbing cause I just didn't feel like it. To make the situation worse, my earpiece got spoilt so I was staring into space all along in the train. Oh I was about to alight at Jurong East when that b**** of an auntie pushed herself against me just to get into the train first to get a seat duh, like as if the train will fly away. "Alamak, can't you just wait?! " Yes, I can't believe I said that. I'm not like that actually, you know.
When I got back home, I didn't have the mood to chat yesterday, though I was online on MSN and that explains the "Busy" status. Heh. Maybe I'm just a little disappointed with the way things are at the moment? You'll get it if you get it. Blame me for being sensitive, very.
Oh gosh, I sound so negative. Think positive, Fiza. :)

MY SPLENDID SATURDAY!
I know it's like already Wednesday and I've not yet updated though I've been online. But anyhoots, here it is! I will bring you through our adventure.

RGB(Remaja Generasi Baru) TALK.
At around two, all of us met at Woodlands library and we conquered a whole row in that auditorium. The talk was all about Cyber-Wellness and it was a fruitful talk I guess, though I've heard it all before in a different talk, but reinforcement helps. Hahahaha.
When we reached, the organizers thought we were teachers! Hahaha. Imagine if I said this?
"Hi, I'm Ms Fiza from Hyrulites Secondary School." What the hell!
A very up-close and personal session indeed, hosted by an awesome tv personality cum teacher cum host Cikgu Asnida Daud. The session felt light and comfortable, very talkshow-ed. Applause to the three gorgeous ladies, being awesome organizers namely, Nora, Nity and Nina. Nora have my compliments lah sebab dia lawa sangat, betol tau! I have this thing for gorgeous ladies lah. I kept on staring at her you know. So pretty. Lol.
Sempat jugak eye-wash btw, adalah satu dua yang menarik perhatianku. Hehehehe. Liana wasn;t with me to drool tho
Yati won the award for being well-dressed in RED. She was crowned MISS RGB! Congratulations and jubilations! ~~
Salha and Lin had to leave due to personal commitments and the rest of us headed to Jalan Pinang for MOMC. 3 taxis!
Guest speaker, Hyrul Anuar.. Huda Ali & Oniatta Effendi too were invited.

As we reached and settled down, we were singing along to all the karaoke songs that I shamelessly chose and played on the stereo. Macam cafe aku pulak. Lol. We were all singing together with the groupie who came from the Fanclub.Sg event! So kental.
Our initial order was to order finger food then main dish but we eventually got full sharing all those finger food which ranged from Roti Johns, Fries, Nachos and Chicken Drumlets. Manalah tak kenyang kan? Wahduh sinful.
By the time we waited for the mini-concert to start at about 8.45-9pm, we were all full. So we gave our full attention to the performances singing along and showing support.
Some of the others singers who were there were Maiya Rahman, Fauzie Laily, Roslan Mohd and Nurun Nuwarrah. Very entertaining!
Hyrul was very sweet enough to ask us what song we wanted him to sing lah. Awww. I thought Abg Mayuni would play the guitar but he used the keyboard instead. Hehehe. And true enough he sang TANDA KASIH as requested by the rest. And also as requested (cause 1 song is never enough) he sang MY BABY YOU.
It was an impromptu performance and there were a few hiccups here and there BUT that was what made the session light, enjoyable and funny. You will understand when you watch the videos. Okay for the sake of some of you especially Aunty Amy and Mimi, I'll post it here. :)
And yes we really did rock the cafe that night while giving some support when it was Hyrul's turn to conquer the stage, even though it was the few of us and also without MY voice as I had a sorethroat. Korang macam loudspeakrs tau, advertisements yg ada muka Hyrul pon buat bising. Kecoh beb! Tapi best!~~
The session ended around 11plus. I loved it. It was a day well-spent with you guys lah! Thank to all! To those who didn't to join, do join next time!
