StarLites' 09!

Mummy, it's over! :(

Apologies for the delay. I needed time for a detailed review! Busy lady mah, huhuhu. :)

Disclaimer: Not all photos here are official ones. ALL official photos will be updated by end of June. Will inform here and on HyrulAnuar.com! Videos too! :)

*****************

WARNING:
This is going to be a very lengthy post so bear with me but I assure a detailed review of the event! :)

First thing I exclaimed when I woke up on 20 June: Hurray! The day is finally here! Months of hard work and endless meetings plus brainstorming sessions are just about to bear some fruit. :)

Headed to the venue with lots of things in mind but the most important thing was to put up a great show for the day. I'm glad we did. 14 contestants reported before 12.30pm and they were briefed by Zuraimi(Floor Manager of the day) of the sequence of happenings. (There were more than 20 at first but unfortunately they had to back out due to some personal reasons and we respect their decision.) Minus-one/karaoke cds were handed over and their number stickers were give out too.

I could clearly see and feel the nervousness displayed by the contestants. Some were singing softly to their chosen song(soft but I could still hear them lol!) while others were fidgeting on their seats and staring into blank space, probably thinking about how they will look and sound on stage later on when the event starts proper.

By this time, The Hyrulites Exco were ready, all took their positions. Shikin was ready at the reception table to welcome the guest and marking attendance. Aishah was busy settling the food everybody brought(there was a lot!) plus assisting Shikin too. Zuraimi looks confident to carry out the most important task of the day as the Floor Manager. Izarr too was busy setting up his sound system to make sure that the sound being produces on that day was perfect. And of course, as the Chairlady I was ready to overlook every single thing on that day, even minor details.

Design by our webmaster, Izarr. :)

The trophies and games prizes! :)

Posters and banners were pasted on the walls with help from ur crew members, Putri and Illa who came earlier to assist in the preparations. They were also the ones who blew the balloons as decorations for the stage. Thanks to the Cik Bani, Cik Murni & Wak Yam in helping Aishah with the food preparations too. Ready, okay!

Ashmi, host of the day.

Soundcheck!

Then came the soundchecks! A brief introduction to what we can expect from the introduction. Impressive. Ashmi Roslan, being the host of the event started the event on track. After the welcoming all, Hyrul(who were being held at backstage) was invited to come on stage and he belted out his new upcoming single, which would be available in his upcoming debut album, POPULAR.

This Putera Popular always impress us with his showmanship and presence on stage while performing. Hyrul seemed to be setting the standards. Hahaha. The contestants must be feeling even more nervous, I guess!

Thank you so much for coming, really appreciate it! :)

Unfortunately, Hyrul had to leave for an event at Taman Jurong CC and couldn't join us throughout then event. He was excited about being one of the judges of the event, isn't it? Too bad though. Nonetheless, we engaged Cik Asiyah Sinnan, together with her husband, Encik Abdul Jalil plus not forgetting Pakcik Maman as the professional judges of the event. They sure have inquisitive ears when it comes to listening to the contestants singing.

A shot, short of Izarr before he left. :)

Part I
First 8 contestants belting out their choice of songs. We had a Siti Nurhaliza clone and also a Bandi Amuk clone, in terms of voice and performance I meant. Also a mum of three who got so comfortable on stage and aroused the crowd and made them groove along to her singing. Yes, a range of different kinds of voices were heard. Some contestants couldn't release the tension they had with them as they performed on stage. Yes imagine almost 100 people watching you singing on stage alone wile the music is playing. I felt the nerves too!

Nonetheless, I felt that they were all people who can at least, sing. There wasn't any elimination round for this competition by the way, all of them are so called "finalists", vying for the Top 5 positions, as mentined by Ashmi. 8 songs were done, out of which 2 were English.

Looks like a mum of 3 to you?

Dato' Siti Nurhaliza's clone!

Bandi Amuk's clone!

Game A: Musical Chair
To ease the tense atmostphere, we then proceed on having our first game. You may think it's kinda boring and childish to have this game but you will never realised how much fun and laughter we had unless you were there. All these were made possible because of the very sporting and fun nature of both the participants and the audiences!

A litle secret, we initially planned for the games to be twisted a little in the sense that the person who doesn't get a seat by the time the music ends, he or she would have to guess the title of the song and that particular song would of a different tempo, making it more difficult. Failure in guessing the correct name of the song would deem her to be eliminated. But we had to scrape it off due to time constraints. Anyhoots, we had fun, especially the 7 of them! Dapat hadiah lagi!

And hey!
What's a paid event without refreshments? Yes, after the first game we had a one-hour tea break where all the contestants and audiences filled their stomachs with all the glorious food.

Tea Break: Makan Time!

A random shot. :)

Part II
At 4.30pm sharp, everyone were asked to be back inside the theaterette for the contination of the event. This time round, 6 contestants strutted their stuffs. A 14 year-old boy who danced well and confidently on stage. A powerful voice belonging to a sweet lady who eventually became the judges' choice and made the crowd go crazy with the screams. Plus a 10-year old girl who portrayed confidence like no other 10-year old. It truly wasn't a torture to stay on and watch the competition. Finally, all the contestants have performed!

14-year old! He danced. :)

Our soundmen, Izarr and brother, Hakim.

Game B: Dance Revolution
Of course, then it's time for another game! 7 random people from the audience were picked out. They were then blindfolded and positioned on stage, with the help of Zuraimi & Aishah. Izarr, being the DJ of the day played continous songs, ranging from different genres like Dangdut, Slow and Bollywood . Yes non-stop! So what did the contestants had to do? Yes DANCE!

We saw all of them dancing vigourosly and it was really entertaining observing how they changed their steps to suit the music that was playing. It was so hilarious that most of us cried while laughin our heads off! We practically LOL! And oh the motive of this game?

We picked out the MOST SPORTING one who wasn't shy on stage and we took off the blindfolds on the other participants one by one. So yes, in the last few songs, she was the only one dancing on stage. Alone! But she didn't know! That's what makes it really hilarious! Such a sport!

Results!

Scoresheets were collected from the judges beforehand before the games and the results were compiled by Shikin. A discussion session by the judges and finally the results were handed over! Ohh!~~

All contestants were asked up on stage to be presented with a Certificate of Participation and Appreciation for joining StarLites' 09. Then came the gruelling time when the Top 5 was announced!

4th Runner Up: Mohd Saril (Bandi Amuk's clone)
3rd Runner Up: Sharifa Alawiyah (Mum of three who rocked the stage and theatrette!)
2nd Runner Up: Amirul Ashraf (14-year old who can dance and sing!)
1st Runner Up: Siti Syakirah (10-year old with blooming confidence!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE 4 OF YOU FOR BEING IN THE TOP 5!

WINNER:
NURUL AFIQAH!

(Everybody went 'Matahari, as if they knew the reslts already!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO AFIQAH FOR BEING CROWNED THE WINNER OF THE FIRST EVER STARLITES!

Singing Matahariku, originally sang by Agnes Monica. :)

Top 3! Aged 14, 16 and 10! Still young! :)

ALL the courageous contestants! :)

I then had my time on stage to say out a Thank You speech which almost made me tear but I held it back. The background music suited the atmosphere just nice. Bahh it was "This I Promise You." by N'Sync. I'll leave my thank-you's at the end of this blog post.

Special Treat: Father's Day Celebration!
In conjunction of Father's Day the next day, we had a special treat for ALL the Fathers present. To appreciate all their sacrifices in the lives of their family and children, here's aspecial treat of them.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! :)
To my Dad too! He loved the chocolates I bought him, yay! His favourtie mah. :)

We didn't stop at that. Love comes in a pair. So we asked the other-halves to be onstage. Hahaha it was really cute. And we did it again. What did we do? Izarr played some funky, Dangdut and slow music. Some were really sporting and they joined in the fun! Awww such sporting people, awesome!

The event ended when we invited the Winner, Afiqah on stage for an encore performance. A tribute to all the Dad's on stage. Nice one. After which, Ashmi officialy closed the event. Good grief!

A Note From Fiza to ALL of you.

Firstly, my heartfelt congratulations to the winner of StarLites ‘09, that’s Afiqah! To the other contestants, I hope you won’t get disheartened as this competition is just a small scale one. It’s all just in the name of fun. All of you definitely deserved a round of applause for the courage you portrayed to be on stage alone, singing. *standing ovation*

Thank you Nee Soon South CC for allowing us to have the event at the homely theaterette. For the lighting, the stage, the tables and skirtings. :)

Thank you to all the judges, Cik Asiyah Sinnan and husband Cik Abdul Jalil and Pakcik Maman. Thank you for taking the time off this weekend to help in the profesional judging of this competition. Really appreciate it a lot. Thanks! :)

Thank you Ashmi for taking off your Saturday to host the event! :)

Thank you event sponsors, Mamahani, Cik Murni, Cik Ahmad(Uncle) and Aishah. Thank you for the initiative in providing extra funds to make this event possible. Another Thank You to Mamahani for sponsoring the Father's Day cake too. Every event needs ample fund to be carried out. Thank you! :)

Thank you to ALL who brought the food. Glorious food! Thanks! Hope the food was good! I believed it was! :)

Thank you to ALL who came! Contestants and audiences who have made an effort to come here and be seated in this theater to show support for the contestants and us. Thank you for being such sporting participants and audiences. Thank you for helping to liven the atmosphere! Very kecoh, I like! This event would be impossible to be fun without YOU!

Thank you for all the well wishes and positive response and reviews of the event through blogs, sms, MSN, Hyrulites Forum, HyrulAnuar.com and Facebook!

A special thank you goes out to all Hyrulites for staying on even when Hyrul couldn't stay throughout the event as he had to go for another performance! Thank you people! :)

Thank you to our Media Crew of the day, Fyza(Photography) & Marina(Videography). Thank you for allowing you cameras to be used for this event! Thank you to our other crew members too, Shakilla, Putri , Syawal & Wawan.

Thank you to our mentor and advisor, Cik Murni and Cik Ahmad(Uncle) for their assistance and advices. They have never stop in helping us whenever we come across a crisis. Time and again. Thank you so much. :)

Thank you to Hyrul’s family for the never-ending help and support everytime our fanclub comes up with an event. Really appreciate that! Thank you Wak Yam & family, Cik Bani & family, Cik Shida & family. :)

Thank you Hyrul Anuar for taking the effort to come and join us even for a short 40 minutes! Really appreciate it! :)

Last but not least, the most important people! Thank you to THE HYRULITES TEAM (EXCO) for all your hard work for this event. All those meetings and brainstorming sessions we had.. thank you! Whatever it is, we all wanted the best out of the event and we got it. Alhamdulilah. This event would definitely not be possible without YOU! Even when we had our own duties, we helped out one another and that's commendable. :)

Shikin(Reception/Results Tabulation) Aishah(Food) Zuraimi(Programme-Manager) Izarr and brother(Sound system and transportation) & Me! :)

Thank you Exco! Oops short of Izarr again! :(

Thank you for reading! Alhamdulilah. Wait up for our next event in a few month's time! I'm sure YOU have enjoyed being with the Red/Black people! So.... Keep coming back to HyrulAnuar.com for details!

Slumber!

Prior to our StarLites '09 event on Saturday, Mak Esah & Kin overnighted at my house on Friday night. Slumber baybeh! We would have done something else but then my parents were at home so yeah skipped the idea. Oops!~~

Watched Sifu and Tongga at midnight and then chatted about things-under-the-sky in my room as we roll on the bed till about two plus in the morning. I then woke up around 5am to make those sandwiches lor.. And Shikin, in her baru-bangon-tidu-mode-and-messy/untied-hair, made me screamed early in the morning in the kitchen! Tekejot siak! Ingatkan hantu. Wakakakakaka. :)

We were very excited for StarLites, I swear! And the next morning? Voila! The day has come. Gosh, time flies. :)

Am very glad the event was a success. Wait up for my long, awaited and detailed post for Starlites k? :)

Here's a sneak peak.

Yesterday.
I was in the train when I received a text message.
I teared reading the message.
The other passengers looked at me.
No, not that I cared.
But it really touched me.
I give thanks. :)

I never knew.
That my words could meant so much to someone.
Someone so important.
I never knew I was capable of that.
I give thanks. :)

I guess this is what we call.
Words that come from the heart.
Deep down, I feel the love.
I give thanks. :)

Gay Is Happy.

Hi lovelies! I know, I know. I promised to blog about Shikin's birthday surprise but I've yet to do so. Reason being, photos are still with Aishah, that super busy Minah Airport! Oops sorry babe. Hehehe. A blog post without photos won't sound as interesting mah. Heh, so just wait up!

Anyway, I'm on two weeks semester break now. I've been sleeping early(before 3am lol) and waking up early(7.30am that kind). I think I'm gonna fall sick soon. I had a few pieces of durians on Sunday and till now, my body still feel kinda heaty and my throat hurts a lot even wen I wanna eat or drink. Pfftt.

At the same time, I'm also busy with lesson plans and event preparations for StarLites '09! Oh yes please be excited about it! Woohoo, I'm so looking forward to it. :)

Okay time for some shout outs for some special people. :)

4th June: Happy 19th Birthday to Nurul Irfunny!
Minah kekek yang kalau-ketawe-nampak super cute. Kan aku dah puji kau! Lol. Dah tua tapi tetap nampak cute sia kau. :)

8th June: Happy 19th Birthday to Shikin Majid!
My partner in-crime! I know I owe you a birthday treat, woohoo! Thank you for all the love and support all these while. *hugs* Dah jalan carik boyfriend lah. But to all fair-skinned guys, sorry you guys are blacklisted. Lol. But I still love you babe! :)

11th June: Happy 19th Birthday to Hamyza Halek!
A new friend found while desperate for tickets for Anugerah 2009 debut on Suria. Hoho. A nice person to talk to, a great partner to criticise the contestants too! 11th day babies are loved loved loved! Woohoo! Never stop reaching out for you dreams, babe :)

15 June: Happy 22th Birthday to Pamela Khoo!
19-19-19 suddenly 22. Huhu. Yes a reliable friend who I can depend on. She's the oldest amongst us the Pisangs plus the one who is very "emo" too. I pray that you meet your Mr Right soon hor. Army guys, fantabulous body and perfect everything? Come apply. Lol. Love you Pammie! :)

Yes that's 4 wonderful people! By the way, tmr is my brother, Hafiz's birthday, followed by Aba's the next day. Wooh. Father's Day this weekend too. Time flies, it really does. Oh have I mentioned? My cousins and me went for a pedicure session last week. It's was Mimie's and my first time actually. We usually go for manicure but this time Kak Aida wanted to do pedicure. Hohoho, enjoyable experience. Blissful. :)

Thank you Kak Aida! :)

One last thing, last Thursday we got a break from attachment and went back to school for a 3-hour tutorial. It was a really draggy one I almost fell asleep man. SIANSATIONS! Gosh. But something woke me up and made me happy!

We got back our DAC assignment and voila, we scored A+ for this assignment!

The thing is that we went through so much trouble completing this assignment and we really thought we were going the wrong way. But it was proved that we did listen in class. Hohoho.

Congrats Sarah, Jolene who is now in Taiwan, Joanna and myself! Let's accumulate more! :)

It may not a big deal to others but to us, it was a sense of fulfillment. Really. Oh well, know us then would you understand why. :)

After school, we headed to Causeway to watch this movie! My initial thought of this movie was a boring one. I thought it's those kind I won't bother watching, well you see I AM VERY PARTICULAR AND VERY CHOOSY. My friends understand. Right? Lol.

But I was proved wrong. I confess I loved every part of the movie! The romance, the comedy and the heart-wrenching moments which made me teared. I'm a loser at this. Bleargh. I could just feel the emotions gushing in as I folllowed through the storyline. Go watch it then you will understand. :)

Popcorns? 4.8 out of 5. :)

Oh! Don't forget to watch Anugerah tonight. It's the All-Guys segment and the theme is Rentak kita, meaning only local songs from Singapore or songs that have been performed by Singapore artistes will be sung by the contestant. A good move to showcase some of the best songs in Singapore! -Quoted from Fauzie's Blog.

Tell me.

I've had enough of the plasticity. Period. It disappoints me to see how people who are physically older than me can be so childish at times. Pretend play is only for children, you know.

If you have an issue with me, I would rather you alert me about it. That way, you shall be satisfied and I would then realize my mistake, if there's any. If you choose to keep mum about it, then I've got nothing else to say.

I admit that somehow, at times I get emotionally affected by it. But I'll then try to stay positive. I always do. I don't and won't cry over this. What I've learnt is that:

Don't look for your mistakes cause you will never find it. :)

Sorry but I'm just very, very very disappointed in YOU. :(

Words Of The Day.

Hi surfers. So interested to know what I've been up to? But firstly, thank you so much for the well-wishes. The smses, private messages and all those encouragement, thank you so much! I really appreciate it a lot and this comes from the bottom of my heart. :)

ATTACHMENT
I'm currently busy with attachment. It was nightmare on the first day as I was suddenly posted to the Playgroup(3 years-old). I lost my confidence on the spot, I sweared. I almost broke down but I feel really blessed to be assisted by a really commendable mentor who gave her words of wisdom. She motivated me and made me gain my confidence back. I thank God for all of this. I take this as a challenge. :)

Enduring 2 months. 9am -5pm, five days a week. I'm lucky to have Peilin & Syura with me through this gruelling period. :)

Way to go Fiza. God, I really need THAT motivation. Please? *sad face*

SAYONARA!
Friday night, after StarLites payment collection, I managed to drop by Vicocity to meet up with some wesome people.

Our dearest Luqman from Fiknatic is gonna be enlisted soon. 10 July eh dok? Lol. All the best! Finally I met my favourite people too. I miss all of you, where's the rest? And I miss THE MAN too. Oops!~~

ItalicThe Diva ft. NSBoy ft. Superstar. :)

MANJA FOOD FEST
Sunday 7th June. The day started off early with me travelling to the central for StarLites payment collection again. After which we had to rush over to Sembawang Shopping Centre as Hyrul was scheduled to perform at 3pm. So far leh! Come to the West lah! Aiyer.

Nice to see the rest of the Hyrulites in Red. I was wearing a black top but my skirt had red hor. Lol. The event was kinda small-scaled but Hyrul did awesome. Great introduction to POPULAR, his new single. I liked it but I wanted to hear it again for a better listen. Hehehe. And I did the next day at JUS!

After the event, we met up at Sembawang Park for a something for a special someone. Hehehe. That would be up in my next update when Aishah passes me all the photos. :)

The REDS..... and PINK! Hahahaha! :)

Atiyah dancing to dangdut. Kekek sia! Lol!

Birthday girl sabotaged on stage! Woohoo, revenge!

JUS & ANUGERAH '09 DEBUT
JUS on Monday night. Thanks to all Hyrulites who made the effort to come down on Monday evening for the live recording of JUS. Thank you for the love, people! Oh yeah, "Up! Up!"

I came after attachment and I was glad I did. POPULAR forItalic the seond time LIVE. I could now proudly say I loved the song after listening to it properly. Plus also the song was played on WARNA the same night during the interview while in the bus with Shikin. :)

Anugerah '09 on Tuesday night. Got the tickets a few hours before the show. I became a mad lady for the day rushing home to get changed. I was really tired and sleepy but still made the effort. Thank you guys for making the effort too! Love love love! Contestants for this year?

Sarah Aqilah, nice tone. :)
Catty, powerful vocal prowess but I guess she needs to loose some kgs. I bet she'll look stunning then. :)
Nora, the one with the long flat-straight hair, I love her vocals. Somehow it was unique, to my ears. :)
Hydir look really cute on stage. Very cute lah that boy. His voice very man, at his age. So young lor that boy. Must work more on the vocals though. :)

These are my favourites for now. Hehehehehehehe, girl power! :)

Other than that, I thought Chirul choice of song didn't suit his vocals but still all the best. Wawan's performance was interactive but he turned me off at times during his performance. Well, just my two-cents worth. Not a review. :)

AND OF COURSE. Hyrul put up a good one while performing POPULAR during the one-hour intermission before the results. Aliff too did the same with Nyala. :)

To all who were there and knew what happened, stay optimistic! Very proud of Hyrul who managed to maintain his cool in front of the hundreds of audiences in the theatre. Kudos, dude! You did great, you know that. Don't let anyone pull you down. They are just a bunch of uncivilised and uneducated idiots who has no idea on the meaning of manners. They got 'it' from some people from our entourage.

Padan muka! I guess they felt insulted and left the studio, glad they did that! All of you deserved that. Go for some manners training lah! Memalukan masyarakat Melayu betol. Sungguh demoralising and disappointing to have these kind of people in our community! (Inserts some words.)

Before entering the theatre! :)

Thanks for the tickets Hamyza! Really appreciate it! 11th babies and Siti Nurhaliza got link hor? HAHAHAHAHA!

I will be back on Friday night and will be blogging about a birthday surprise for Kin Pendek. Till then take care! Here's a sneak peak..

Revenge is sweet! :)

Pssst: Move aside please, I'll lead. Yeah, whatever you say.

Pisangs Lunch Date.

If anyone can make me fall in love,
you can. :)

Don't ask me the reason for those 2 lines above. *toodles*

Anyway, I met up my Ngee Ann clique on Thursday for a lunch date. Plan A, which was movie and dinner was canceled as the movie UP was apparently, not out yet. Fcuk, was super duper excited okay. So we went ahead with Plan B which was a lunch date.

We met up at the place where all of them dreaded to go to. But it was the place I always and love to go to. What else but not Bugis. Hahahahaha! Oops!~~

We had lunch at Manhattan Fish Market @ Iluma. Yeah damn it. I cheated myself! We had great discounts by the way. Thanks to Jolene's bestfriend, Pei Qi. She's a supervisor there. Phew. Cool or what. Heh. We even got free vouchers! So, yeah I'll be back there for my dinner date with my STC clan probably. Hehehehehehe. :)

Great time with them. With them, I'm always victimized lor Lol. Bullied. Thank you anyway :)

7 is not a crowd. :)

Joanna Cullen, yah vampire. :/

Jolene Chaplin, some girls really grow moustache lah, there! :)

Tomato-based lobster soup. 1/5, I didn't like it. :/

Face as big as the glass, woah. ROFL. :)

I couldn't finish this off. The serving was super big and I'm not a big eater. Aiyer.
:/

They got so impressed by the toilet. Lol.

We found ourselves. Lol.

Chillaxing @ Starbucks. My fav hang-out place. Yah still Bugis. :)

Note to myself:
Fiza, please wake up at 9am later and reach City Hall by 11.30am for StarLites' 09 payment collection. Then off to Sembawang Shopping Centre for Hyrul's performance. Yah okay.

Good night! :)

In My Mind: 10!

I woke this morning and reflected, and have come up with 10 things that has been playing on my mind. Well, just expressing myself. :)

1) I am very disappointed because I may probably not be able to go to KL for Dato' Siti's concert on the 28th. Coincidentally, there's a paternal family event going on on that day. I know it's a 3-consecutive-days concert but there's something else on the 27th. 26th? It's a secondary school friend's birthday. Bahh I'll discuss it with the rest first. (:

2) Stop asking me about APM '09, listen to the radio lah! RIA 89.7FM/WARNA 94.2FM! No, I won't be going because I will be on attachments for 2 months! Well, no it's not a loss to miss out the chance to fly to Jakarta but I will pray for the best for everyone okay.

On a random note, I love my Hyrulites because they never fail to make me feel very appreciated. (:

3) I think it's normal for me to gradually reduce my shows-going and whatsnot. After all, I'm in my final year for my diploma and I know I've got to put my priorities right. Well, it's only sane. It's my future what. Well, I personally don't feel I've changed so drastically anyway, so why not we stop the assumptions people? Get real. && GROW UP. (:

4) I dislike, not actually I should use the word HATE people who don't reply text messages!!! I think it's only courtesy that you reply accordingly depending on what I've texted you. I DON'T ACCEPT BUSINESS AS AN EXCUSE. Then text me back when you're done busy-ing lah?! How busy can you be right? Common sense, duh.

5) To that someone, I've given in. So what more do you expect from me? Never expect too much, you will end up disappointed. I've gone through it. Heh. :/

6) I think God should add 3 years to my age. Then I'll be 22? Heh. I really feel like I've been facing too much at this age. I'm thankful though, at least it made me grow up and think more maturely. Thank you God. God, you may want to do the same to some people out there so that there'll be err, justice! (:

7) I must must must lose lose lose weight! Shikin, wheee!~~ SUSAH WOH BUT HARUS CUBA! If Imran Ajmain and Mark Bonafide can do it, we can do it too. Lol random names. (:

8) It's just like me to swallow everything in and put on a show. It has become a norm, I guess. Give me a few years to change myself maybe, not? I HATE THIS PART RIGHT HERE! :(

9) I tend to think about my future a lot. Like A LOT. I keep on thinking of an ideal one. I know it's not easy but I am gonna work towards it. InsyaAllah. Working hard! (:

10) ATTACHMENT! I don't think I'm looking forward to it! 2 months straight. 5 days a week. 9am-5pm everyday. Effseeyoukayy. Bleargh.

I'm done. Okay.

:)

MySpace!

Hi dear. Well here's an amazingly-here post on this really oh-not-so-comfy weather. It's been scorching hot these days, I shan't even use the word 'warm'! The aircon in my room broke down so I have no choice but to use the fan, well at least it does me a favour. Global warming! Must we wait till Singapore turns into a Sahara before we start saving the Earth! God. :/

Anyway I was at Tampines just now in the evening, as in a few hours ago. TampinesOne was nice but still I prefer the West though. Now comes the silly part of yourstruly. I apparently missed the last train that was travelling towards Joo Koon. It left as soon as I entered the station, damned train! Exactly 11.25pm by the way, damn! Oh wells. Guess I need some lucky vibes.

And so, I was left with no choice but to hail that four-wheeled-car with that meter increasing every minute. I had to or I would be stranded there! The Uncle upon being told that I was rushing home, sped through the highway. Minimum speed: 100km/h! I couldn't get my eyes off the speedometer lah. SCARY OR WHAT?! I had to listen to his grandmother stories too lah. My replies were like, 'Oh okay.'

And if you didn't know, I'm now(at the age of 19) learning to absorb some healthy nutrients. That V word. VEGETABLES. Well I used to hate it. Used? Ah we'll see. I've started off with those leafy ones. But I can't stand the sight of broccoli and cauliflower lah. Okay I'm trying, at the very least. Lol.

I'm avoiding rice/carbo at the same time too. My intake would be a small scoop, no more than that. Yes, I've realized it's time to lose the ugly fats. Am aiming for smaller thighs and arms, oh a smaller waist especially! Shikin Majid is my partner for this, so babe we'll work towards it alright. Must plan our workout sessions properly lah dey. Woah. Go figure! :)

So.. Don't you ought to throw some confetti now? Lol.

Okay that's all for now. I've got a tutorial at 9am so I better go to bed. Project discussion tmr and 'UP' with Pisangs on Thursday. I will be back! :)

Pssst: Attachment, pls do not hinder my plans for the 26th-28th. *crosses fingers*
